1. Some people are leaving to go to other shelters. The worst of
the storm to be over in 1 hour. Eyewall going away from NO.

2. So far, it appears as if they are going to move people to the
outter section of the dome - to the concourse area or mezzanine area. The power was temporarily off, but appears to have been restored.

4. Today show just showed pictures of the holes and it is not 1/2 the roof
missing. There are two holes where rain is coming in. They didn't say anything about people leaving for other shelters, just relocating within that building to avoid the rain. Brian Williams, who is there, sent the pictures by email to the Today Show studio.

6. Today show now saying those holes are 9 feet wide
Brian Williams is saying that tiles are lifting on the roof but not being blown off. The holes are at a seam in the roof. They are being moved to other areas of the dome.

8. Brian Williams Emailed from inside the dome-it looked like small sections
Not "Massive" pieces as one hyperbolic network crawl called it. No one is Moving anywhere. Just to the promenades inside the dome.
Sheesh!

10. they had engineers on several stations saying
that the struture itself is sound. The roof is in no danger of collapse. Don't you just love the catastrophising that the networks do? (sarc)
