on the whole has oppressed other races. I don't take it personal that that is just the way it is, but I also don't feign offense at the word cracker either.

Sometimes you just gotta stand in the shoes that have the shit on them whether you put the shit there or not.

If a person of color were to treat me with resentment solely for the fact that I am white, I can understand where they are coming from. I personally would just do my best to erase their impressions of me. I wouldn't act as though all whiteness is stark innocent and only David Duke and the KKK should be blamed.
