My soon to be ex- mother and father in law live in the territories. Inukshuks are more common in the eastern Arctic.

I've gone up there to visit lots. It has its points. In the winter, however, I would get sicker and sicker the further north I went. At Christmas there would be daylight for 4 hours, that's not the sun being up- that's the streetlights being off.

In the summer, it is the total reverse and you require a 12ga shotgun jut to get the mosquitos attention. Then there are black flies and noseeums.
