It's going to be a long as day though! Been up since 5AM and I won't be back in bed until probably sometime around 2AM tomorrow AM.

Fortunately for me I took a vacation day tomorrow so I can catch up on my sleep

you may have heard a jimmy eats world song and not have known it. they had a pretty big hit a while ago called "in the middle". you might recognize the lyrics, but you would probably definetely recognize the music if you heard it. it was played everywhere about a year or two ago.

green day has a special place in my heart/mind these days.
they have been "keeping it real" for over 15 years and i was greatly surprised by the american idiot album, it is weird but it is by far the best "rock" record of last year. it's like they took very untraditional ingredients and allowed them to congeal in order to create a jello surprise desert that is beyond compare. the record is awesome from start to finish and extremely cohesive, it flows well from song to song. i just love it. american idiot is green day's diamond.

but yes that's the one.

I had really been getting into Green Day these past few years but American Idiot sealed it. Then when we saw what a great show they did in Berlin at Live8 we started to scope out for tickets. The Wachovia Center (which is much closer to me) was all sold out so we thought we try for the Merriweather in Baltimore. Longer drive but the tickets were definately better in price (Wach is an indoor stadium and charges through the roof).

Sorry about not coming through with some passes. A few days after we talked on here, the guy that I was to talk to rolled Green Day's swag truck. I think he is off the tour..LOL.
