That video of the guy who lost his wife in the waters broke my heart.
When he said she told him to take care of the kids, I just broke down.

Bless those families.

1. I know - it's just shattering to watch
These poor, poor people. I feel guilty watching from the comfort of my unharmed home.

3. I just wish there was a good way to evacuate people
It is so hard with somewhat short notice to get so many people out of town. My heart goes out to those who just flat out couldn't afford to leave, or didn't have the means.

The Red Cross or FEMA or something should start to have a fleet of busses on standby in Florida, and in the Gulf states to evacuate folks that can't get out.

11. God, I saw it again. I wish we could find out if he found his wife.
The reporter was crying, trying to get his name and her name so she could help him.
