Yahoo Notepad - suddenly getting code???
Edited on Wed Aug-31-05 04:28 AM by Lefta Dissenter
:wtf: I use Notepad so I can write notes for myself for home and work. I've used it for quite a while now, but all of a sudden, it started showing the apostrophes and quotation marks in code (for example, & # 3 9 ; ), which it has never done before. And it didn't just change them for the notes I'm leaving NOW, but for all past notes. How can I un-do this? I want my apostrophes and quotation marks back!!!

Thanks

1. I use Yahoo notepad for the same reason.
Just a few hours ago, I noticed code instead of quote marks. I called it up again, and edited it back to quote marks. Seems normal now, but it puzzled me too.

I have Yahoo Plus, the paid version of Yahoo. Lately, I've notice a lot of lengthy delays; including a few time-outs. How about you?

but I'm glad to hear that the issue isn't just me - maybe someone will FIX it! If you edit a note and it stays edited, what happens when you leave a new note with quotation marks, save it, and re-open it? Are you getting code then, or are your qoute marks staying?

Thanks! :hi:

edited to add that I just did a test message - when I saved and reopened, it showed the " as code. Edited back to " saved and reopened, and it had switched it back to code again.

3. I only saw it happen that one time.
Since then, it's been behaving itself.

So are you experiencing any of the other trouble I had described?
