Gas prices in Valley Ranch (Irving, TX) |
|
$2.85, up from $2.65 a couple of days ago. I paid $2.82 with my Kroger card for 87 octane (grand total of $37 to fill the tank of my 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander).

1. $3.09 for regular unleaded in western NC -- |
|
Monday night it was $2.59...
Our fuckhead in chief could cap the prices, like Carter did, but that would be helpful, and lord knows W* doesn't want to be helpful...

3. In central SC the price today hit the $3.00 mark for regular |

I do not think Dubya will cap the gas prices because his family has too much vested in the oil business, as well as Cheney's.

Gas at the cheap station by work was $2.99 as I was leaving a couple hours ago. I have a feeling that they will be higher tomorrow.

4. A matter of conditioning... |
|
Gas prices will go up, until they push the economy right on the brink.
Then, they'll go down again. Let the masses get accustomed to 4$ a gallon for awhile, then we'll be thrilled to "only" be paying 2.50 for it.
This cycle will run it's course sometime before the midterm elections.
