I know government officials will tell us to stay out but what really is the American Spirit? Waiting for a lame duck president to act? We are a nation of people who only want to help, well except for the freeper who wants to see the evils of New Orleans removed from the face of the earth, not to mention racial cleansing under the guise of, "Hey don't spend my tax dollars on these people".

Think about how easy it would be for DU to go to rental agencies and tell them what we want, I bet we could get a good rental rate. Think of the free publicity for the stores that donate free goods for us to distribute. You, the people of DU are the American Spirit no matter what Fox News says.
