Yikes!!

I had my personal reasons for turning down this particular job but try explaining that to friends who think you are nuts.
Hey, I have my reasons and don't talk me out of it. :)

The fact that I got offered means there is finally some movement at my workplace (civic service) and I know there will be other opportunities coming up very soon.

I just wasn't overly enamoured about this particular job, too many people hounded out of it.

I'm optimistic about other opportunities so I will keep my options open.
