I guess it does have some merit.

But I would beg to differ :-) :bounce: :freak:

4. There's likely some truth in that...
But as with most things, I've known some spectacular exceptions to the rule. ;-)

6. but, wouldn't it also go to the sexually deprived?
After all, there are some (including me) that haven't had sex in a few months. I don't believe in one-night stands so in order to quell some of my hormones, I do like to talk about sex :-)

8. Not always
My sister and I talk about sex much more now that we have sex regularly. It depends on the person. Some people think that it is respectful to their relationship with their SO not to talk about sex to others. Some people think that sex is a normal conversational topic amongst friends. Young men that only get it occaisionally do seem to talk a lot about sex though.

12. Yes, I say it's true
Edited on Tue Nov-11-03 07:08 PM by FarLeftRage
When I was working for a much larger employer than the I am presently working for, a lot of my co-workers (mostly women) wanted to know about my sex life and why I scarcely discussed it...

I said to them "Those who talk, least do it than those who are quiet."

You would have thought that it would shut them up, but no it only made them all the more nosy.

13. I think there is some merit in that!
But then again there are many who get it and talk about it and then there are those that don't talk about or do it!

15. There's a lot of young, raging hormones on this board
and I think they are letting off some steam.

But I generally agree with the sentiment. it is usually frustrated adolescent and twenty-something boys and girls who do the most talking.

23. I know..whenever I come down here I wonder: "Why are folks so Horny?
Does Horny have and "e" in it? Is it Horney or Horny?

Whatever...I wonder sometimes if some "lounge folks" are hoping to get Larry Flint to "give them a deal?"

But, OTOH, our world is so strange these days that "romantics looking for love" are "looking in the wrong places...or the right places...maybe "online" is THE PLACE. And, I don't want to be judgemental.....being an oldie whose been married very long to a wonderful guy.....I might not always be "in sync" with the need and longing that's out there. And, I can empathize with all of it....I can. But, sometimes, some of us wonder about all the "cock flashing" here in the lounge.....but it's not just relegated to cocks.....well..I won't go there.

I wish I knew how to make you all happy and whole.......if I could do it...I could "Change the World of Today!"

I wish........:-(

24. What about those who talk about sex the most during sex?
Sometimes, talking is fun, if you and your partner are sharing a wavelength and are on a creative roll.

Sometimes, determined silence speaks volumes.

Oh-oh, I think I'm talking about "it" again!

All theory and no practive makes Jack a dull boy. (Or Jill a dull girl.)
