I just watched Troy last night, which I enjoyed a lot, surprisingly, and I thought O'Toole was great. Of course, he'll always be Lawrence to me...

I avoid Peter O'Toole movies like the plague ever since I saw him in The Ruling Class.
Just a drunk monkey trying to do tricks for you, and failing.

6. I haven't seen that one |

"Drunk monkey" seems a bit harsh - all I see is a guy who's had several too many and looks like a bit of an ass, which I find funny. I've got pictures of myself looking that dumb...
I don't really know anything about O'Toole off screen - are there unsavory factoids that ruin his movies for you?

4. Hello, my dear Wetzelbill.... |
|
And Peter O'Toole was amazing in "Lawrence of Arabia."
That was his big-time debut...

7. "My Favorite Year" is one of my all time favorite movies. |

Perhaps it was prophetic.

Ya know... the guy is old... he may not be drunk in this picture. He may just need help.

10. I thought that, also. He may not be drunk. |
|
It was my understanding that O'Toole has been sober for a number of years now.
