This is the differance between Clinton and bush.
Clinton was one of the smartest people on the planet. On his watch he paid attention, and when bad shit happened to this country, he was all over it. bush sees a lot of poor people that we could do without, so let them suffer, and die. I'm dying to hear what colter has to say about this from her elitist tower.

2. The terrible consequences of bush's poor choices are just Beginning.
Clinton really did try to make good choices and when his choices were wrong, he fessed up.

Bush is not only a moron, his arrogance and cowardice are driving America to ruin.

4. Clintons only wrong choice was letting ms lewinsky
blow him. Clinton knew in the 90's that the Islamic nutcases were coming for us. He also tracked storms coming at or through the US. That's why the government could always respond so quickly.

3. So I'm the only one on this thread.
Fine. Clinton would have flown into New Orleans by now, with the National Guard, and what ever it took. This has to be the saddest days of our country. I'm going to bed with my favorite 60's song.

5. Indeed
Clinton really cared about the people of America, whereas Bush cares only about the rich who can contribute to his pockets, and anyone who can contribute to his reign of terror. All others rank below 0 on his scale of concern. He's even given up pretending to care about them for appearances sake.

Clinton would have been acting pre-emptively to take care of those affected by Katrina, then he would have been taking care of business during and afterward. Chimpy partied and then days later deigned to put in a bit of effort to act like he gave a crap. We all know he doesn't--after all, the victims are mostly poor black people. :sarcasm:

6. I think it's called clearing out the garbage.
The English did it back in 1846 when they needed to get 5 million people off the land that the aristocracy needed to graze their sheep. Too many poor people(scum) need to be moved out of New Orleans, Bet me. So lets pretend that it is an act of God.

8. I don't know whether to weep, vomit or be furious.
Because what you said may very well be the case.

Read about Joseph Stalin, and you have bush with a better Adviser, and way more sophisticated advertising.

7. right on...
your first sentence said it all. Bush only cares about the rich. It doesn't matter what Clinton did or did not do, because if you are to compare the two it is no contest. What really matters is Bush is so bad and completely out-of-touch, about anything and everything. Nor does he even care that he is.

9. Oh, but my dear Wetzelbill, you do bush so much wrong.
He cut his month long vacation short by 2 days so he could address this catastrophe from the White House. I think maybe we ask too much of this p-resident.

11. Sleep well. Stalin had to leave Crawford.
He probably has to go and attack Iran to show us what a great leader he is, just because you and millions don't respect him. :P

12. Clinton would have already sent in the National Guard, because
we'd actually have any of them in the country still if he was pres now. They wouldn't ALL be in IRAQ.
