or did you tear the outline from extraneous paper?

11. The beetle rests on a map of Africa
torn from a 1960s-era German-language map of Africa. The Arabic writing on the right is torn from a 1950s map of Cairo. :hi:

Now fire ants? :grr: They gotta go!

20. I don't do ants of any sort.
Bugs are Mr. Heidi's territory. When I encounter a bug of any sort in the house, it gets a ride outside in the dustpan. :scared:

26. It's been so dry here, that they are coming in the house.
Normally, the little spiders eat anything with 6 legs that ventures in. Natural pest control. But, the last two days, I've been bitten in my house!

So, yesterday, I went out with the Amdro, trying to kill the little SOBs.

The spiders eat the regular ants that get in. They leave me alone for the most part.

19. We absolutely must rendevous, cryingshame!
This piece uses Lascaux clear gesso over the paper pieces (the papyrus, maps and tarot card) to isolate (and protect) them from the oils, then only a little Liquin with the oil colors. I've never used Golden's media; I don't think I can get them here. :(

I'm thinking about doing another CD of some newer material, and I'd love to have some decent cover art (instead of nothing). The pics you posted are very similar to what I have in mind.

I don't have any plans for a release date, but I'll be in touch once I arrange recording/financing/etc.

Very nice work! :pals:

P.S. I forgot to mention in the previous post to you that Mr. Heidi will have my website back online again "soon." As I'm not one of his "paying" clients, I have to wait in line.

35. Certainly
<http://tinyurl.com/bce87>here's a link to some stuff I did a while ago. I've also got a hard copy of the CD, too, if you want one. Just PM me your address and I'll send one.

My newer stuff is somewhat similar to this, but not quite so gloomy and doomy. It's a little poppier, with a more of a middle-eastern/gypsy influence to the melodies (the flamenco influence coming through), but it's similar enough.

Hope you enjoy it, and I can't wait to see your website! :)
