8. Pick a topic . Just about everything related to the hurricane

turns into a fight over something. Racist response/what racism. Anarchy or chaos? Refugees or evacuees? And of course the new hot button, the 'L" word. LIHOP/MIHOP/random tinfoil hat stuff on everything. There's also a fair amount of moral outrage over the administration, but so many of us are so torqued emotionally by the disaster that very few posters are taking the time to read and digest before reacting.

There also seems to be a high level of trolling. I think it's great that new registrations were closed for a while. That might calm things down over there.
