MY HUSBAND JUST PAID $3.00 a gallon of gas this afternoon right here in
south florida where jeb bush has made a public call for people to CONSERVE GAS: DON'T USE IT IF YOU DON'T HAVE TO.
Eight gallos of gas came out to $26 on our 1991 Japanese car. We used to fill the tank with less than $10.00

I guess I'll have to forgo those unleaded facials.

On edit: $3.10 here in IA.

8. Hmm... maybe someone kind will do the math for me
Gas here went to $1.14/litre. So that would be about $5.70/gallon (CDN). Then you have to subtract exchange rate. I think it's about $.20. ($1.00CDN = $.85US). So our gas is still more expensive. And, this part kills me... it's OUR GAS! I am so glad I gave up driving a car last year. I use buses, feet or bike.

12. $3.49 here
Of course if I'd forego those unnecessary trips to work I wouldn't need so much gas :sarcasm:

19. 3.09 here
So far it isn't anything I can't handle, but it is a tremendous burden for many. Many of my co-workers have very long commutes. They live in small towns where there are no jobs, and they have to drive to a larger city just to have a job. The extra money they now have to pay for gas just isn't in the budget.
