6. Is Maher and/or HBO worth $20/month?
Edited on Fri Sep-02-05 11:18 PM by BullGooseLoony
The two or three episodes I've seen of Maher were absolutely OUTSTANDING. The one the weekend before the election, and the one just last weekend, at least, with Cindy on (as we stopped at a motel on the way back from Crawford). Clearly one of the best shows on TV.

But how are you guys feeling overall about the extra money? The g/f and I have been considering...need some extra input.

7. Maybe not Maher alone, but
HBO series and special productions are definitely worth the extra clams.

9. Is he always as good as the episodes I saw?
The first, the one before the election, had Clark, and then some stupid appearance by Coulter and I can't remember who else. And then the one over this last weekend.

Are they always that good?

11. the extra money is worth without the fcc censorship
The independent shows on HBO receive the most emmy awards than all other networks combined.
No commercials, once again no commercials. I hardly rent a dvd now days so that is in the economic equation on my film choices plus with satellite you get IFC and Sundance thrown in with 7 HBO stations.

Maher is not good all the time but sometimes he rocks at times.
and I needed a good laugh after this week.

10. Good episode tonight
although a dissenting voice usually makes for some entertaining moments. Next week should be incredible, Carlin and Vonnegut.
