I was watching NBC and They came in to an interview with Bush amid the mounting criticism. He laughed and said there's nothing wrong with how things were handled.
They cut him off, anybody know more?

Down here (Georgia) it's as I feared, and those who dislike him are timid mice scurrying into the woodwork from fatcat zealot Rethugs. People are afraid to speak up, and those who aren't afraid are ignorant.

Any attempt to explain anything to them is...well, it's like getting up close and personal to a zombie. A blank stare, and then they try (usually violently) to bring you over to their way of thinking. x_X

Thursday evening... (Sept. 1, 2005.)

I was scanning around on my satellite radio looking for hurricane
news... I had been getting up-to-date news from AAR and other channels
since early Monday morning.

I came across a "Family" Channel. Naturally, I assumed it had something
to do with Families. But, lo-and-behold is was a cloaked RW channel and
the show was sponsored by those Spongebob haters "Focus-on-the-Family"
themselves. (Which meant there were not one, but, two Rightwing channels
on my satellite radio... The subject of a future hateful rant).

The point of all of this is... I tuned in to see what they were saying.
They said they *didn't* have any Hurricane related shows and they were
going to play some other BS propaganda.

I couldn't BELIEVE it! Thursday night and they still weren't paying
any attention to the hurricane on their supposedly family oriented
channel!

Not only were they *NOT* prepared... They were actively ignoring an
ongoing disaster!

A vision of things to come from the right wing media!

I rarely do. Must've been fate.

They were discussing the disaster and corporate donations.
One of the regulars said,

It made me feel a little better about the world.
