SoCal DUers. Did you feel a quake about 10 minutes ago?
It sounded like a bomb hitting the ground. A loud explosive sound and my whole block shook. Car alarms were going off and dogs were barking. A few small groups of neighbors were out on the sidewalk, looking around. I havent heard any sirens.
I'm in La mesa CA. East San Diego county.

Your home, etc.?

Someone said they felt one in socal last night, too. Weird. I think there must be another storm rolling in.

5. Everthing is fine now. No damage. Only car alarms and dogs making noise.
It was so quick about 2 seconds or so. But it was crisp explosive sound.
My building shook.

17. Hi Peggy! It was actually kind of cool.
Am I sick for thinking that earthquakes are cool?
Just the little ones.

19. I agree completely that the little earthquakes are cool!
Even the moderately big ones are cool if nothing is harmed...

We ride them out the way you would ride a roller coaster...

Earthquakes are Mother Nature's roller coaster! What a concept...

You are never sick in what you think! NEVAH!

That's because you are a sweetheart, you know...

21. Maybe
Sorta. Haele says she heard something, maybe, but the rest of us, no.

Once more, the animals had no reaction. A dog, 2 cats, 2 rats, and 2 birds. And not once, EVER, have any of them react before or after a quake.

Heh.

Oh, we're in North Park, a mile or so from Balboa Park.
