1. I read Wil Wheaton's all the time.
He's becoming a decent writer and I am a big fan of all things Trek. Plus, he describes himself as very progressive (check out his views) and despises Bush.

2. I like Wil, too.
I was suprised to learn how much more of a person he is than that character he played.

3. I really like him as a person.
He'd be the type of person I'd want to meet, buy a beer and talk politics with(and most celebs or pseudo-celebs do not make me want to do something like that). He also seems like the kind of person who'd probably do just that if he's not w/ his family.

Here's his event from PokerStars, if anyone is interested. They expect it to make some decent money.

5. It really is.
He also has pics of him and his wife protesting. It's nice to see someone who has even a little bit of name recognition out there doing something instead of telling us what to do.

6. Right.
He doesn't seem to push himself as different or separate from other people.

7. Exactly.
I didn't like his character on ST. Someone on DU passed his link onto me and I've been hooked ever since. He just seems like a nice guy.
