are you in Maine? these guys could be siblings! My cat tied the World record book for his number of toes. 24 One had to be removed because he was stepping on it and making him bleed. Is your cat mutli-toed?

66. I used to have a cat with 27 toes.

The vet counted them, 9 on the right front foot, 8 on the left front, and five on each back one. He was THE best cat in the world, best cat I ever had. He was about three years old, and I brought home another male cat, not realizing it would be a problem. (All my cats are fixed.) The two hated each other, and my beloved Stomper got out and ran off. I haven't seen him in four years. I assume someone took him in. He was gentle as a lamb, and with all those toes, a real cool oddity.

I miss him so. I never stop thinking about him.

Those pictures are from my last place. A beautiful farm in Humboldt county in Northern California. But we've just moved to Southern Oregon where there is a burbling creek. And millions of mice. I keep thinking, until I learn how to be self sufficient, the cats will survive just fine. But I've got a lot of learning to do.
Oh, they got a big rat. So sad. But they were very proud.
