1. I think Comedy Central has been taking some flack |
|
from the State Dept. The show "Kid Notorius" was sent a letter by the State Dept. recently. The show was portraying Jaque Chirac in a negative light. Their NEWEST show has Kim Jong Il wearing Peacock feathers and saying stupid things in his broken English. I wonder if the State Dept. protested that one as well.
I have finally come to the realization that Comedy Central is the last bastion of hope (minus the Simpsons). Who would ever think that satire and comedy shows would show the truth in America.
John Stewart, Crank Yankers, Kid Notorius, and even South Park takes on the religious fundamentalists a lot. They took on the AARP in their last show.
