SEARS will match your donation to the Red Cross at its retail stores!
Sorry if this has been posted before ...

Sears is collecting money for the Red Cross at its stores. Contributions you make will be matched $ for $. The only catch (if you could call it that) is that you must pay with cash, check, or debit card. They won't let you do it with a credit card or a Sears card.

If you are out and about today, this is a good way to kick in a little extra money--especially if your employer is not doing a gift match.

BTW, I'm not sure how long it will take to actually get the money to the Red Cross, so I made a donation directly through the RC website www.redcross.org and another at Sears.

2. I wish I knew that yesterday.
I donated $5000 yesterday to the redcross through its online site.

If I had known, I would have gone to Sears.
