So, EarlG has got Skinner locked up in the DU dungeon
Should we attempt a rescue or just learn to make a proper cup of tea?

9. I've yet to drink English tea.
The stuff I have comes from India or China - the nasty crap which most folk over here drink tends to come from Kenya (whose climate is far too arid for proper tea cultivation, the leaves dry-out then tiny fragments break off the edges causing the tea to stew).

There is a style of tea blend called "English Breakfast" - but one can stuff pretty much anything into it, but a decent English Breakfast is more than drinkable.

Earl Grey is distinguished by the addition of bergamot oil. The recipe was brought to England by the 2nd Earl Grey - after other folk here enjoyed his tea he commissioned Twinnings to copy it (only Twinnings is real Earl Grey). It tends to cause fist-fights over how it should be served - normal practice is to have Indian teas (which are used in it) with milk (b.t.w. NEVER CREAM THAT IS A CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY), but due to the bergamot many folk (myself included) prefer it with lemon or even straight up.

Okay - I know I'm spouting boring crap, and so will now leave you in peace and get an early night. :hi: and :loveya: to everybody.

but you have to give Americans a break - they don't know tea from tap water. ;-)

Elad's down there, too. They're on Day 4 of a Risk tournament. They don't want to be rescued, just send down some beer and sandwiches.

17. No, DS1 is down in Florida with matcom.
They're taking turns being one another's Cabana Boy.

And EarlG's a sweetiepie. The most well-mannered of all the guys in the moderator hot tub.

Do you think they're available for a gig in Hawaii in April?

The English SOUND so well-mannered but underneath they're fiery bastards. DON'T be fooled.

A game involving conquering the world doesn't seem very "liberal like," but I still love it. :)
