I think Bushco was surprised

by the outcry about the response to Katrina. They thought they had the media so far in their back pocket, and the sheeple so deeply asleep that this would simply be a blurb on the 10 o'clock news and then everyone would go back to watching "Will and Grace."

I'm glad we've proved them wrong.
