There is a house...In New Orleans
They call the Rising Sun
And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy
And God I know I'm one.

Oh mother tell your children
Not to do what I have done
Spend your lives in sin and misery
In the House of the Rising Sun.

2. The Animals are in Sausalito today
Edited on Sun Sep-04-05 06:39 PM by TomInTib
That's right- Eric Burdon and the Animals are playing the Sausalito Arts Festival today.
Tomorrow's headliner is the one and only Marcia Ball.
How ironic. The city that basically made both these acts is underwater and their backdrop today is San Francisco Bay. And today is one beautiful day.
Laissez les bon temps roulez!
