I have one day in SF, what to do??
My first trip to SF and I only have one day to soak in all I can before heading off on Tuesday. I know there are a lot of people here from the bay area...any suggestions on what to visit or where to eat??

8. Breakfast at Dottie's True Blue Cafe
It's right around the corner from the Hotel Monaco on Geary Street in the theater district. If you're going, you'll need to be in line by 7:30, it's a teeny restaurant and the lines get long.

Delicious food, even better atmosphere, and you'll enjoy yourself!

10. Musee Mechanique!!
Hands down the coolest place in San Francisco that no one knows about.

http://www.museemechanique.org

It moved a while back to a new location on Pier 45 at Fisherman's Wharf. I haven't been to the new place, but the old one was the coolest!

"One of the world’s largest privately owned collections of mechanically operated musical instruments and antique arcade machines."

Go there - you won't be sorry!

11. Hey! I've been there and that place is cool!
Some of those old machines are facinating. Isnt "Camera Obscura" right next door?

12. Used to be.
Apparently they moved to somewhere on fisherman's wharf. I'm not sure if camera obscura moved with it, but I really want to see the new place. They've got the freakiest laughing doll machines I've ever seen! Just turn your sound on when you visit their site and you'll see what I mean. Makes Chucky seem like a pleasant little doll.
