Wine recommendations for South Indian food? |
|
Going to dinner tonight at a friend's house and she's making several south Indian dishes. I'm supposed to bring the wine, one red and one white. Friend said that the best wine is very slightly sweet (not too dry).
Can anyone recommend something good? Red and/or white?
Many thanks...

2. Um, how spicy is the food likely to be? |
|
Spicy food does call for slightly sweet whites, like Gewurtz or Reisling, but they can be too sweet. Um, some ideas for reds and whites here: http://www.azcentral.com/home/wine/articles/0902india02.html

4. not sure how spicy, but I think relatively so... |
|
some of the guests don't like white, some don't like red so I'm bringing a bit of both. This site was helpful, too. Thanks.
