10. Your Merlin looks just like my Merlin!
I was going to name him Percival, such a scrawny, 4 week old foundling, I felt like he needed a heroic name.
Everyone I know tossed a fit -- "no name for a cat" they said, and told me they'd refuse to call him that.
I caved -- went for Merlin instead.
He's not scrawny anymore, and has the loudest "meeeyouuuu" of any cat I've known!

Imhotep: Gwarwol! (I think)

Evie: Kasha! (sometimes Meep!)

Socrates: Arrrrh!

Quark: Prhprh!

All have a very extensive and personal vocabulary. They also learn "words" from each other.

8. Mine squeak.
They don't have much of a voice until it's time for them to go to the vet. Then, while in the car, it's a howl.

9. THere is a bratty meow
when the God Diva wants to be pet... the I'm hurt help me meow when the Furry God Diva is in another part of the house and wants you to come to HER and pet here, the chirp-meow when the God Diva sees a bird, squirrel, or deer outside, the surprised meow when she suddenly wakes up, the loud piercing meow in my ear when she wants the blinds put up.... all of them are bratty, actually! Except for her playing meow.

13. My Edgar goes "reeooow", and Leo just kind of barks
Leo oftentimes howls like a wolf, or sometimes just opens his mouth a little and makes a quacking noise. Edgar has a cute little whimper meow.
