2. I had some marinated steak tips that have been marinating since
yesterday morning :).

That and some rice pilaf on the side (nothing fancy, just Green Giant frozen pilaf . . . tasty but not exotic).

5. Falafel, tabouli, hummus, pita bread
Pre-made falafel balls, because it's freaking 90° in St Paul, MN right now, and way too hot to cook.

Cripes, it's Sept 5 already. It shouldn't be THIS hot...

8. did you premake them?
meaning earlier in the day with your own recipe or do you use a mix? I've never tried them from scratch. I recently had surgery and I tried eating falafel the other day and lets just say it came up faster than it went down :(

I just LOVE falafel , hummus , pita , cucumber sauce .. but it doesn't sit right with me anymore :(

22. The best fish tacos in town
was in my old neighborhood in east Long Beach, and as I usually do in such cases I stopped by El Cilantro where they make the best fish tacos. Grilled fillets of fish, cabbage, and (most importantly) this great white sauce that I always get extra of to smother the things with.
