Poll question: Will Brown (head of FEMA) be fired by Bush? |
|
Despite everything, I think the chances are still no better than 50/50 on this.
Despite the guy's obvious lack of credentials and poor performance, they of course have every reason not to since it would be a concession that not everything was done by shrubco as well as it could have been, and they try like hell to NEVER make that kind of concession.
Still the guy has been exposed so badly I think they'd have a hard time avoiding it at this point.

Firing him would be an admittance that they made a bad appointment. No, they'll make sure he resigns.

and it will be Brown. But Albaugh is the guiy who reccomended him. I don't like Albaugh. He told us in Davenport, IA that we should move out of a flood plain. Brown is his boy. Screw 'em both. Brown will be gone soon.

9. He's been squelched. He'll resign for "personal reasons". |
|
Browne has been squelched and is not being shown or heard of lately. In a couple of weeks he will resign for personal reasons: to treat a carbuncle on his horse's ass.
