As my 18 month old daughter manipulates me, so are the days of my life. |
|
Tears, bitter tears roll down her cheeks now, because I'm trying to get her to take a nap. I swear, I am the most abusive father in the world. Naptime is naptime, you know. But, even are the kiss before sleep, she grins big up at me and tries to get me to pick her up. I am a bad father, she thinks, for making her sleep.
Damn it, I can't set any structure you know, or you're a bad parent.

1. Our adult son (a single parent) and his baby live with us..... |
|
....sometimes at night we will peek in on them to make sure they are both comfy in their beds....and then we think back to the time we spent getting one little guy to sleep...but, my son doesn't remember the 'send offs' to bed when he was that little....he does talk to us about the time he spends getting his baby to sleep....;)

4. Looks to me like you are trying to manipulate her! |
|
Um . . . SHE WASN'T SLEEPY.
What were you going to do while she slept, Mr. Manipulator? Trying to make her fit your schedule?
Tsk tsk tsk.
