I ignored Bush this weekend

"Don't buy gas unless you need it".

Instead of heeding his advice, i filled up my SUV @ $2.96/gallon, turned on the 4wd, & drove 26 miles into the Cascade mountains on the meanest, rockiest, worst road i've ever been on. I never left King County.

It took an hour to go the last 7 miles. I burned gas in an SUV, and I don't feel bad at all. Once i passed the last house on the road, I didn't see a building for 48 hours.

You could say that I "needed" it.
