But I had a cousin named Katrina who died at two weeks old so the name really hits a chord w/ me.

8. A fellow activist I once knew is probably regretting that she did...
cosidering that her Katrina was born in New Orleans! She'd be about college-age now, most likely in the Twin Cities area, but shhesh!

I really liked the name Katrina, too...I actually have a friend from high school named Katrina, although she goes by Katie, so I suppose she won't get too many harsh looks or jokes about her name...

I myself feel sorry for the 80's group Katrina and the Waves, "Walking On Sunshine" becomes a bitter irony...
