'K. Anyone who rides trains should read this.
A friend of mine heard yesterday that a co-worker was injured and in a coma. She didn't get the details until today. Apparently, the co-worker was riding the commuter rail home and realized he had missed his stop. As the train was pulling away from the station, he attempted to jump off so he wouldn't wind up hell and jesus away from home.

He didn't see the cement handicap-access ramp when he jumped. It saw him, up close and fast. Right now, this person is comatose in ICU, and lost his arm.

Moral: Miss the stop. Don't fucking jump off trains.

I gotta ride the train from the airport into DC and that's not something I have much experience with. :scared:

Thanks for the advice. I'll try not to lose any body parts before the party that Friday. :)

5. If we got rid of all the ignorant, stupid, and idiotic people,
then yes, it would be common knowledge.

7. Same holds true for freeway exits
Miss the damned exit and go around. Whipping across two or three lanes to get an exit is a no, no.
