How Quickly Will The Front Page Die?
If you haven't been to the front page, folks, have a look; there's a good spread today, including two good articles on the Bush team's 'support' for fallen U.S. troops. Have a look, and come back and throw flowers or orange peels as the mood strikes you. All of us who write for DU do it for nothing, so it cheers us up to hear from people.

Remember: All of us are going to be hearing from Freepers, so now's your chance to make the feedback "Fair and Balanced!"

C ya,

The Plaid Adder

1. Good piece Snake :)
It is too bad the next Vets Day is AFTER the 2004 election. More and more of the troops with missing body parts will be in parades and showcased by their home town TV and newspapers. Bush and Rove try to hide the number of wounded. BUT home town TV and newspaper will be proud of them and maybe then the sheep will start putting 2 and 2 together.

2. Another excellent article!
Great job Plaid Adder. Looking at the picture of those middle aged men signing away the rights and even the lives of millions of women enrages me. I'm afraid my mom, a pro-choice catholic until the day she died, may be spinning in her grave.

4. I sometimes forget to thank you, but...
I think your Wed. column was Skinner's best gift to us. I started to become aware of you with "Future's Shock", and sought out your posts after that.
You're a very gifted writer, and I have made everyone I know aware of your weekly contribution.
Thank you.
