What the heck are tenant meetings?
Edited on Wed Sep-07-05 08:16 PM by Darth_Kitten
My apartment is having them tomorrow. In the hallways.

They are planning renovations and stuff, but are meetings like these usual?

3. I have heard of condo/coop member meetings, but apartments?
That's a new one. Maybe they just want input on the renovations, or more likely to tell you what the plan is so you know what's coming.

5. this hole needs renovations....
they won't do renovations while people live in their apartments will they?

I know this sounds stupid, but this gal I was talking to downstairs asked me well did I get a letter and she was blabbing about having to move out in December (when her lease was up) and having to move out before so they can get it ready for the next people.

The way she was talking to me I'm thinking everyone who going to have to move out to accomodate the renovations and I'm thinking what the #$#@@ where is everyone supposed to go?

But then she cleared that up for me. Gee, thanks dear. :)

8. I've been to them for apartments before.
They usually tell you about renovations, extermination schedules and then let you bitch about whatever is on your mind.
It was a good way to meet the neighbors and get some free food(they had sub trays, veggie platters and such). We had them every 6 months.
