Whoopsi Gras (New Mark Fiore animation)
Fiore is dead on as usual, but this time in addition to being amusing his animation is heartbreaking. Not for the faint of heart:

2. I've always appreciated Fiore
I never thought he'd be this powerful. Is there an award for best political cartoon we can nominate him for? I knew about that incident but I hadn't heard it aloud. I've never seen him blend a sound clip like that, it's amazing.

3. Apparently About.com has awards they give out
They are called the Dot-Comedy Awards The 2004 awards are already over of course (and Mark Fiore got chosen for best Web Cartoons), but the 2005 competition has not yet been announced. There is a link near the bottom of the page where you can sign up for their newsletter and receive the announcement. I'm going to do so myself because I think this animation deserves it.
