Woman Says She Was Fired From Teaching Religion For Being 'Too Sexy'

<snip>

WAS it her good looks or lifestyle that led the Catholic Church to sack an Italian religion teacher earlier this year?

Caterina Bonci said Church authorities decided she was just too attractive and dressed too sexy to teach religion after 14 years on the job.

The Church says it sacked the 38-year-old blonde from the central Adriatic city of Fano because she is divorced.

No matter who is right, Ms Bonci has been all over the Italian media demanding to go back to her job teaching religion to children in state schools on behalf of the local diocese.

She said she never hid her 2000 divorce from the Church, dresses down when teaching and defended her right to dress how she likes in private.

"I don't see what it matters if a teacher is good looking or not as long she is qualified," she said.

"In school, I dressed normally. In my private life, I have every right to dress any way I want."

10. At the risk of being seen as a grammar nazi
I have to point out that it's "tenets."

Tenants are people you rent to.

No where does God say we are supposed to divorce ourselves from our sexuality and our expression of ourselves.

She looks perfectly fine to me; that's a nice suit she's wearing.

I wish these guys who want womem to wear flour sacks would get over themselves.

5. Bush and his fundies want to
be able to let that happen here in the good old US of A...

They want private schools, even those who are recieving public funding, to be able to dismiss someone who doesn't follow the moral guidelines of their organization... OUTSIDE THE ORGANIZATION.....

8. Some parts of the human body are inherently evil
especially, the round, protruding, jiggly parts.

And we must be PROTECTED from them at all times, at any cost.

9. You may find protection if you wish.
However, where round, jiggly parts are concerned, I wish to be slain.
