That is correct. He was alone and lost control of the car. He wasn't wearing his seatbelt and got thrown from the car. He had just dropped off someone. I am at least glad no one else was involved. His anniversary was last month. His birthday is coming up soon too! :hug:

I lost my brother 9 years ago. He didn't take very many pics, so I cherish the ones I have. Especially if I am in them with him. That is why that is my fave!! :hug:

That picture of you and your brother is awesome. He reminds me of someone and I can't quite place who . . . his face just reminds of a female actress I've seen somewhere and I can't put my finger on who it was . . . anyway, you two look very happy in that shot :) :) :)

He actually loved acting. He was quite good. He would have been a great mobster type. When he was in the Navy, he got the nickname "Capone". It always cracks us up now when we think of it!

9 years old is so young. That is so sad. She was probably around my brothers age.

I think I only have one at home though, the rest are with my mom in California.

BTW, I fixed the typo, she was 8, not 9. I hit the wrong key.

She was one of those kids that really fit the stereotype of a terminally ill child. The type you see in movies that makes friends with everybody she meets and spends more time trying to take care of the other kids in the hospital than she does focusing on her own illness. Hell, she used to spend a couple of hours a day reading stories to the younger kids in the room next door.

I don't think I ever saw her as excited as I did the day quadruplets were born in the hospital and she got to go down to the maternity ward and see them.

43. It was pretty bad. I think the rest of us kids (my brother, sister and I)

came through relatively okay (my youngest sister was probably the one most affected among us), but it was the final straw in an already fragile marriage and my mom and dad were divorced not too long after.

44. Statistics show many couples divorce

after losing a child. Luckily my parents are still together. Children can be pretty resilient. I think I was the strongest one in my family. Obviously my mother and father took it horribly, but my other brother took it extremely bad. I took it bad too, don't get me wrong, but I felt like I needed to be strong for my parents!

Your pictures are great. It's wonderful to have memories captured forever. I have no photos of me as a child, heck I have hardly ANY photos of my life at all but I'm working to change that. I wish I just had ONE picture of me as a child but sadly they were all lost when my parent immigrated (or is that emmigrated?) from Scotland to Canada.

That is my summary of April's remarks on the viewing audience.

I told my wife that I wouldn't be surprised if someone sued over the editing saying that they were just sure they would get all kinds of offers from being on the show and that the editing made people hate them. If it happens you heard it here first.

I think that the Nerd Herd's complete lack of awareness that no one likes them (how could they know really?) is hilarious. "Cappy" picked the weakest for his alliance.

74. Quite a few, but they are all okay and are

handling things very well. My brother is down there now helping with the efforts. He is arresting "real" looters (not people in need of food and water and other necessities), looking for people, handing out food and water, rescuing people, and helping kids find their parents. Such a sad situation! Thanks!
