Men - What kind of wallet do you like best?
I always prefer a slim one so that it fits into my back pocket easily without bothering me too much when I sit down. Is this an item where quality counts? Is there much difference between a high-priced model and a cheap one?

2. I prefer slim - but tall
I'm nearly always wearing a jacket when I go out - and so carry my wallet in the breast pocket.

I cannot abide to have anything in my trouser pockets.

5. I'm with tjwmason. I'll carry it (nearly) anywhere but my back pocket.
Slim and tall is best. No trifold for me.

9. I used to have strictly bi-folds, but have moved to tri-folds
My newest is tall and (sorta) slender when folded and it's made primarily of hemp fabric. I think I paid about $18 for it, but don't remember for certain.

10. Duct tape. Attached to my belt loop by a doubled-up steel chain.
Not gonna lose that on the Chicago L in a hurry.

12. Why only men? This woman carries a wallet.
The material is just as important as the style and functionality.

What is your style? What are your needs and likes?

16. I Have A Really Slim One
It's a travel wallet that i bought at one of the office supply superstores. (Don't remember which.) It was pretty inexpensive, is really thin, isn't much bigger than a credit card or driver's license but holds plenty of cards. (I don't carry many card, but have my travel cards, ATM/debit card, rental car member card, frequent flyer card, insurance cards, and gas cards.) We've got a bunch of cards, but we don't think of 'em as credit cards. Only charge cards.

But, i've had this wallet about 3 years, and it still looks new. My guess is that with my license and 12 cards in it, it's probably only a quarter inch thick. Pretty cool.
