23. It takes years and years to have a collection like mine ...
although this isn't tie-dye ... it is still in my closet

the yellows and the embroidery thread are as perfect as they were when it was new back in 1972 ~>

2. I never had either
It was such a big fad in college that I didn't want to be a part of it.

Actually someone gave me a tie-dyed tee-shirt as a gift and I gave it to my mother 2 months later, never been worn

4. I made a tie dyed scarf in day camp in 1961
I still have it. It was the only sunburst design. Everyone else made stripes.

5. I worked in Arts and Crafts at a day camp, so I got good at tie-dye.
Hell, tie-dye week was the only week the 10-12-year-old boys would come to their assigned A&C day and not call it "Arts and Farts and Doody Darts."

I made spirals, paisleys...even did some batik with the dye. It was fun.

I don't actually own any tie-dye anymore.

10. I do...One shirt
It's a half shirt, and it's quite tight. I wore it the other day, and my son kept telling me that my bellybutton was showing.

14. I always said I was a child of the wrong generation
I was in high shool in the late 80s/early nineties...I listened to sixties music and wore tie die clothes. I've also been told I have the hair...long and straight. I bow before the hippie gods!

'Not' should be spelled 'Except'.....and 'thong' isn't spelled 'thing'.
