Their food dishes are half full and water dish is filled with fresh water. There is clean litter in the litter box, I've cuddled them, brushed them and petted them most of the night

But they keep staring at me like there is something else I should be doing but I'm forgetting about it.

Damn cats!

9. They want you to kiss their furry little asses
meaning, you are now supposed to either give them catnip, play with them some more, and oh, put some icecubes in that water. They like it better that way.

11. Did you try meowing at them?
maybe they just want a conversation.
truthfully, our one cat used to do that (I say used to because she's gone now), and she would just stare and meow back - I actually thought she might me a reincarnation of a person. Freaky, but I always felt "connected" when she did that.

16. For no particular reason
I will try and tell a story. I heard from sources (too deep to mention) that cats don't go out at night to hunt. They are actually at investment seminars. 'Cause they know that old ladies (like me) leave all their money to their cats. So there you go... your cats are trying to figure out how you fit into actuarial tables. Hope your will is up to date.

15. My Oreo has been mrwow-ing for about a week.
Day and night. I feed her, clean the box, let her sit on me and cuddle. She has "pestering" down to a fine art.

Actually, I think she wants to go outside. She's had a few occasional visits to the great outdoors (supervised), but I don't want her to get in the habit.

Then again, maybe our critters are picking up on our anxiety.

17. They want you to adopt "Katrina Kitties"
It's that damn eerie telepathy thing cats have going on.

If you could tune in, they'd tell you who to call and exactly which cats to ask for....
