1. What nature of food is this?
I've heard of spaghetti, and I've heard of squash. But I can't put those two together in my mind and come up with something coherent!

2. Well, basically it's a large, yellow, football shaped squash
Not something I'd normally buy to be honest with you. Anyway, you can cut this think in half and bake or steam it. When it's done, you take a fork and scrape out the inside and it comes out in perfect strings (very weird I had to see to believe) like spaghetti.

Not much taste of its own. It tastes like whatever you prepared it with. I work with a guy who puts marinara sauce on it and eats it like actual spaghetti. We cooked one last night with butter, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and nutmeg. We had it as a kind of desert. I was very impressed.

9. Acorn squash is wonderful, too.
Slice in half lengthwise. Scoop the seeds out of each half with a spoon.
Add butter, honey or maple syrup, brown sugar, nutmeg, salt and pepper to the hollow scoop of each half.

Place upright on a greased cookie sheet and roast for 20 to 30 minutes or until tender when flesh is poked with a fork.

4. I'm not a vegan
Vegans don't take milk, butter, cheese or any other milk-derived foods. I do. What I don't take is meat, fish or eggs.

5. Ahhhhhhhh . . .
You're like my sister-in-law, though she's currently weaning herself off of all milk products.

Try some spaghetti squash if you can find it. YUMMY!

7. We used to grow it when I lived in the states, but
I've never seen in the produce section here. I'm gonna check into it; they've gotten other US products that I asked for, so why not? Thanks for the reminder Catch22Dem! :hi:

13. I liked that as a child
I am not really sure how to make it though. I guess that I'll have to look into that. Unfortunately even if I made it, my husband doesn't like things like that so I'd have to eat it on my own.
