Ideally I'd like to work in legal aid for the poor, family law, elder law, criminal law, copyright law or immigration law.

I'm waiting on my bar results (another 2 months!) And I haven't really been looking for a job and need to start soon. Just enjoying my hard-won down time, I guess.

4. you have to enjoy it while you can
once you start up again you'll miss it. I wish you the best on the bar results and you eventual search. You seem passionate about things and that will serve you well in that pursuit.

qualifies candidates, maybe you could ask to be nominated for Supreme Court..

I hear the hearings take about 2 months. Then you could get your results and decline the nomination......

See, practive you courtroom skills, get national exposure and kill time while you are waiting....
