I need help locating a thread from the past week or so

about the number of troops available at any time to patrol in Iraq - ~28k or so. Also mentioned how many police are in NYC, etc.. I am trying to show a debate buddy the truth of our pitiful chances of success based on the manpower applied so far...

Any help - thanks!

It may have been networks, cable or PBS.

But I did hear 28k at any one time!
