Bush can't accept responsibility for anything. The non-acceptance of responsibility deminishes the power of the presidency.
Surely, JFK was not the only one responsible for the Bay of Pigs, as that plot was hatched in the Eisenhower era. However, he accepted responsibility for going forward with it.
Clinton eventually admitted he got a BJ. Hell, even Reagan admitted he traded arms for hostages after a while.
Accepting responsibility for failures proves that the person has the capability to handle power.
In projecting blame, Bush actually makes himself look less powerful than he is, as President.
This should be in the Dems language in the coming months.
