Virtual drinks served up often enough, cheap advice even oftener, what about some tunes? An earlier thread about fave fem. singers inspired me here. I will plug the first quarter in, I hope you enjoy this, I also hope to enjoy your virtual selections afterwords.

I would be interested in those downloads.... My primary thrust with this thread was as a "lounge-jukebox-thing". Folks are always offering up drinks around here and I see the ubiquitous: who is your fave band-musician-singer and etc. so I thought what the hell, offer up a real song. I was actually hoping someone would download a nice lounge-lizard song, perhaps something obscure like Katerina Valenti or more upbeat like Gale Garnet, maybe a country song from Marty Robbins, I offered up a soft punk number and so far I have seen a metal number......

...liked Temple of Within best btw... I have had "head-bangers whiplash" from hangin with bands like that in my prior life. Off to Germany soon where they should do very well. (They sure LOVE that stuff there.) Sorry for the 24hr. delay in the listen, we had a severe family emergency while I was posting this thread last night, had to bail abruptly. (+$350 vet bill)

I have their latest album and I can't say enough good things about them. They were getting air time on the radio with the single that I recommended. It didn't go too far, but I think it is a good accomplishment for them.
