Today's ZINGS!
From today's issue of the Tallahassee Democrat:

• I see that the Rev. Useless Jackson finally made his grand appearance in New Orleans, bringing his regular message of animosity.

• Unreason and hatred among liberals is seen for what it is: lies and distortions perpetuated by the ignorant. :grr: :nuke:

• What kind of tax cuts will Bush propose to rebuild New Orleans?

• Some folks who regularly pray to God and say he's speaking to them should get back in touch and find out what it would take to calm these storms - perhaps throw somebody off the ship of state.

• Any chance we'll see the president standing in front of the Superdome in two months with a "Mission Accomplished" banner above him?

• Definition of absurd: When your monthly gasoline bill equals the monthly payment on your vehicle.

• If the new bankruptcy law is so fair, why do we have to exempt flood victims from it?

• Considering the national deficit, I suppose red is a good color for the Republican Party.

6. Well in the Biblical account - it was the person who was running away
from his responsibility.

Now who does that parallel?
