1. Get thee to a nunnery!
Sorry, I just had to say it. Dont mean to make light of your situation. Actually, I haven't been following Ophelia at all - how nasty is it supposed to be?

3. She's only a Class1 Hurricane (Katrina was a 5 that downgraded to 4)

She's slow moving too but the waters of the Atlantic are a little bit colder so it's doubtful that Ophelia will get much stronger than what she is now. But still she will cause some flooding and damage especially since it looks like she'll be hitting the Outer Banks which are low-lying barrier islands!

5. Barely a Cat 1
According to that pic. Is that still the case?

A Cat 1 can wreak some havoc mind you, but it's not even close to something like Katrina.

8. Maybe not wind damage
but flooding can still be a problem, even with a Cat 1 storm. And it doesn't take much to flood the OBX.
