meow... 4 down, one to go
4 of my 5 foster kitties now have homes, but one of the adopted ones is with me for one more week. I'll keep the last one, Leander, as long as needed, but I hope he won't be lonely with no siblings to play with during the day.

Anyone in Texas need a really SWEET extremely affectionate kitty?:loveya: :loveya: :loveya:

1. I love the one of Leander asleep on his back
and the kitten peeking out of the drawer. Can the rescue provide another kitten? I hate to think of the little one alone in the house all day.

2. I'll probably get some new fosters soon.
I'll be bringing them to the pet fair this Saturday, so I'll see what the director says. Maybe there's another solo kitty who needs company :loveya:

7. I AM in Texas (albeit in the DFW area)
But he made me promise that our June-acquired Morrissey would be the last (until they start dying off).

then became a bit of a jerk, and he's now starting to mellow again.

Althea has always been a super sweet attention hog :).

And just for you, one of the lesser seen Quinn kitten pics:

14. He's now taken to treating me like another cat :).
If I sit still long enough, he'll jump up on the back of the sofa and start grooming me :) (especially if I have my hands behind my head, he likes to lick my fingers).

After he's done, he'll curl up on the arm of the sofa and go to sleep.

He and Althea will both wake me up in the morning, Althea by standing up on my chest and headbutting me, Quinn by laying down as close to my leg as possible and starting to lick my fingers :).

They're a great pair :)

15. sweet!:-)
My dearly departed kitty used to groom me. And sometimes she'd use my hand to groom her. She'd lick and lick and lick my hand until it was moist enough, and then she'd rub her head against my hand. I was a kitty washcloth!

18. I am sure they are.....
There are only 2 no-kill shelters that I know of in the area, one of them being Whiskerville, which I volunteer with.

Edited on Mon Sep-12-05 03:37 PM by Lisa0825
does it have its shots? healthy? Those are the kind of questions Wydell will be asking. Tell her that you know me, and you know I am down to one kitty left!LOL

edited to add:
Depending on the rules of your local group, you might also try Freecycle to find it a home.

23. Uh... shots?
This is one of a litter of feral cats born in my back bedroom. The Queen snuck in a broken window. I placed the Mom and two of them, but this little guy is the odd man out.
